On 21 and 22 November 2026*, Tignes opens the doors to its ski area for an opening weekend all about skiing, high altitudes and wide-open spaces.
Head for the heights and rediscover the unique thrill of the season’s first runs on the Grande Motte glacier, at an altitude of 3,656 metres.

1,300 metres of vertical drop from the very first snowfall.
And that rare sensation: being amongst the first to reconnect with the snow-covered mountains.
For this first event of the winter, Tignes reveals its most authentic side: a powerful, challenging and spectacular mountain, where the experience begins from the very first turns.
